ITINERARY

DAY 1 – Departure: set off from your home/hotel room after your breakfast, embark on a scenic journey to kibale national park as you drive through districts such as kampala-mubende or drive through masaka- Mbarara, ibanda- kamwenge, kasese- fort portal. With the help of a tour guide you will be able to have fun filled and detailed engagements where you will get knowledge about the beautiful unique sceneries and the rich culture of the people of western Uganda.
Lunch: After a thrilling journey you will Taste western Uganda’s signature dish amidst a welcoming and vibrant fort portal city. Hiking: The hike to Amabere caves and nyamisika waterfalls is engrossing. As it sounds, amabere caves presents a rich natural attachment to these rocks forming scenic and satisfying pleasant visual sightings, with streams of water hoovering above causing refreshing water falls and a cool misty and humid atmosphere, serene for a refreshing breath of nature.
Dinner: Pamper yourself with a healthy meal at your lodge. African dishes with a touch of western flavor are divine. Rest and rejuvenate, preparing for a beyond belief new day.

DAY 2:
Breakfast: Start off the day with an early morning breakfast, check out of accommodation and with the help of the guide/driver load your luggage in the van and drive to the park headquarters which is the starting point of chimpanzee tracking.

Kibale national park: Here you will have the briefing start at 7:30 am about the safety precautions and expectations while with the great chimpanzees. The park is only accessible on foot and the walk will provide you with an opportunity to see and get close to a variety of primates, animals as well as listening to the sweet bird sounds. Once the chimpanzees are found you will be allowed to spend time with them in their natural environment where you will be able to learn about their behaviors, habits, watch them carryon their daily activities like breastfeeding, feeding, resting, mating, playing and feeding.
Lunch: After the chimpanzee tracking, enjoy your lunch at the garden’s restaurant, relishing the memories of your encounter.
